Statement of Faith
We are a Non Denominational Christian organisation.
We strongly believe that our faith must interact with every part of daily life.
Our faith is in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and daily needs.
We also believe in...
...the full and complete inspiration of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God;
...the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit; three persons in one Godhead;
...the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutional atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and His personal visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory;
...the person of the Holy Spirit Who dwells every believer and His work of conviction, regeneration and sanctification;
...the necessity of the new birth, of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone and the importance of a life fully committed to the Will of God in Christ.

Statement of Objectives and Purposes
- The provision of a Christian based accommodation and recreational activity holiday campsite for children, young people and adults.
- Provide a safe fun filled environment with good facilities and good food, along with caring staff who display a good Christian example.
- Under the direction of competent leaders, children and young people who attend Blue Lagoon-run camps, shall enjoy a holiday break in a Christian environment where Biblical teaching is coupled with practical Christian living.
- Recreational activities of various kinds are an integral part of the Blue Lagoon programme.
- Activities carried out on/at the campsite are for the benefit of the above-mentioned.
- The training and equipping of young Christians in camp leadership and youth leadership generally.
- In addition to the above basic objectives, the objectives and purposes of the Association are those set forth in rule 4 of the Associations Incorporation (Model Rules) Regulations.

We are always on the hunt for VOLUNTEERS who are willing to come and help us out in a variety of roles at camp.
If you would like to commit to PRAYING for us we believe that this is the most important thing we can be doing to build the ministry here.

There are many ways you can be involved in the ministry here at Blue Lagoon.
Volunteer your time
Campsites like Blue Lagoon can't operate their own camps without our wonderful and faithful group of volunteers.
Being a volunteer can a truly rewarding experience and how better to do it than at a stunning campsite by the beach!! Blue Lagoon runs training weekends during the year to equip people to work with children and youth, grow in their faith and learn how to run activities, facilitate group devotionals and discussions as well as employ fundamental hospitality skills. Some of the roles that we need volunteers for are: Hospitality (food service, cleaning, food preparation) Programming (running activities, coordinating campers, set up and pack down of activities) Leaders (supervision of campers, mentoring, bunkhouse supervisors) Look out for upcoming staff training events on our camps page If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Blue Lagoon Christian Camp get in touch with us and come along to our next staff training event! |

Donate to our ministry
Blue Lagoon is a not for profit organisation and we rely on the generosity of donations to make our campsite the best it can be.
Through your donations we are able to discount or fully sponsor underprivileged kids so that they are able to come to camp. Many people think of donations as being purely monetary but your donation can be so much more. If you have practical skills, or supplies that you feel may be of benefit, or you have time to come and help us out for a couple of hours, that is just as appreciated!!
